Time for Campers to Unplug Throughout the US!

Bunk1 is proud to be featured in the Wall Street Journal, encouraging campers to unplug and personally interact, while allowing parents to send Bunk Notes and view photos all summer long. With children spending ever increasing hours with electronic devices, camp offers an ideal reprieve from all of the technology. The Bunk1 team are all former campers, counselors, and summer camp directors. We have always supported the importance of authentic camper connections and the camaraderie of the camp environment. Our summer services were intentionally designed to ensure that the integrity of the camp experience is not disrupted.

Our “one-way window” allows parents to view photos of their children having fun and developing new skills over the summer. Parents can login to their secure account and send a Bunk Note to their child, with guaranteed next day delivery! No need to rely on USPS and wait several days for your message to be received.

Parents’ Window on the Camp World

Bunk1 is proud to have been featured in leading publications such as the New York Times, Time Magazine, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Crains, Entrepreneur, and Business Week. We are thrilled to have told our story live on CNN, CBS News, the Today Show, and NBC.

Yet some of our favorite articles are those written by our customers. This months featured article, written by Rachel Blaufeld in the summer of 2012, tells the story of Bunk1 from a parent’s perspective. Rachel describes the anguish felt as the buses depart, the eagerly anticipated photos, the relief of Bunk Notes for prompt communication, and the appreciation for the difference camp is making in the lives of her 2 boys.
